Ingredients
✓ 7 oz (200 g) La Moderna® Rotini pasta
✓ 270 g crushed tomato (approx. 1 cup + 2 tbsp)
✓ 1.5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
✓ 1½ tbsp olive oil
✓ 130 g cubed mozzarella cheese
✓ 35 g grated parmesan cheese
✓ Salt and black pepper to taste
✓ Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Preparations
Cook the pasta:
In a large pot with boiling salted water, cook the rotini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the sauce:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, without burning.
Add the crushed tomato, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 8–10 minutes to concentrate flavors.
Mix in the pasta:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat with sauce.
Add the mozzarella:
Fold in mozzarella cubes and cook for another 1–2 minutes, just until they start to melt.
Serve and garnish:
Plate the pasta, sprinkle with grated parmesan, and garnish with fresh basil.
