Ingredients
2 L of water
½ teaspoon of salt
200 g of La Moderna® Whole Grain Screw
1 tbsp olive oil
2 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups of white cabbage, washed, disinfected and sliced
2 cups mushrooms, quartered
4 tbsp. walnuts, toasted and chopped
3 sage leaves
A pinch of salt and ground black pepper

Even though whole-wheat pasta is very beneficial, we must be careful with the amount of sauce or ingredients we accompany it with.
Preparation

Heat the water and salt in a tall pot until boiling. Immediately add the La Moderna® Whole Grain Screw Pasta, checking the cooking times on the package.

Drain and set aside. Heat the oil in a pan and cook the bacon and garlic until golden brown. Add the cabbage and sauté for one minute, or until it begins to soften.

Add the mushrooms and continue sautéing until softened. Add the pasta to the pan and stir in the vegetables.

Add walnuts, salt, pepper, and ancho chile; mix thoroughly and cook for one more minute.

Serve hot and enjoy.
