Preparation

For the salsa:

  • Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat and add the garlic and chile de árbol. Stir constantly and allow the garlic to brown slightly.
  • Add the oregano along with the onion and stir regularly until the onion becomes translucent.
  • Add the canned tomatoes, mix with the ingredients in the pan, and season with salt, pepper, and sugar.
  • Cook over low heat for 5 minutes and set aside.

For the pasta:

  • Heat the water and salt in a tall pot until boiling.
  • Immediately add La Moderna® Whole Grain Pluma and cook until tender.
  • Transfer the pasta to the saucepan, add the sausages, and cook over medium heat for two minutes.
  • Serve hot and garnish with Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley.
